POSTPONED: Museo delle bambole – Collezione Marie Paule Védrine Andolfatto

Via Riva Reno n.79 , Palazzo Felicini Fibia, meeting point at the entrance

It all began with a black biscuit porcelain cute doll face, smiling on a market stand. Now there are more than 500 of them sitting patiently in their most beautiful attires and waiting for us to enjoy their unique features, dresses and accessories.
Some of them sipping their tea, some others playing with their French bulldogs, they all rest in the showcases at the noble upper floor of the Museo delle Bambole in the splendid Palazzo Felicini Fibia.
The extraordinary dolls collected by Marie Paule Védrine Andolfatto and her husband are a unique display that narrates the everyday life of ordinary people, their values and esthetic ideals as well as their ideas about fashion and the role of women and children in society.
