Mark your calendar to attend a special event in commemoration of Kathryn Knowles, long-time IWF member and former IWF President who passed away in 2018 after a brief illness with a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
On Thursday, April 29th at 18.30, the Johns Hopkins SAIS Bologna Institute for Policy Research hosts the “Kathryn Knowles Women in International Affairs Lecture – How Fit is Europe for a New Transatlantic Relationship?”. Kathryn, who passed away on September 18th, 2018 after a brief illness with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, was Associate Director of the European and Eurasian Studies program and Director of Public Affairs at SAIS Europe.
The lecture is held by guest speaker Dr. Daniela Schwarzer, director of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP).
