RACE FOR THE CURE is the symbolic event of Komen Italia and the largest demonstration for the fight against breast cancer in Italy and in the world. It takes place in many different cities in Italy with Bologna being one of them, where women aim to raise public awareness on the importance of prevention and a healthy lifestyle; raise funds for new projects to fight breast cancer and express solidarity with the Donne in Rosa, women who have faced breast cancer.
This is a 4-day event full of initiatives dedicated to health, sports and well-being that culminates on Sunday in the exciting 2 km walk which the IWF ramblers could join!

Meeting place: 09.30 at Porta Castiglione (the walk starts at 10am in Giardini Margherita)
How to register:Online at raceforthecure.it. The event takes place in an area open to the public and everyone can take part. However, since it is a charity event, it is important to remember that every donation for the registration is a precious contribution to the fight against breast cancer . The minimum donation is €15 for everyone.
