The Fondazione established in February 2015 by Massimo and Sonia Cirulli is built upon three decades of work and experience accumulated by the Massimo and Sonia Cirulli Archive. The Fondazione’s goals are to promote knowledge of twentieth-century Italian art and visual culture from the early years of the country’s engagement with modernity to the post-war economic boom (1900-1970), and to organize exhibitions with a multidisciplinary approach, drawing from the Fondazione’s remarkable holdings. The Fondazione’s headquarter itself is well worth a visit, as it is a building with a strong symbolic connotation in the context of twentieth-century Italian architecture and design.

How to get there: By bus: Bologna Stazione Autolinee (next to Stazione Centrale) bus 101 and 916 (stopCicogna/Fondazione Cirulli); Bologna via dei Mille, bus 94 (stop Cicogna/Fondazione Cirulli)
By car: Please indicate if you are willing to carpool and if you would need or offer a ride.
Participation fee: 150 euros total for the guided tour + 10 euros each for the entry ticket.
The individual fee will depend on the number of participants: varying from a maximum of 25 euros each if we are just 10, to a minimum of 16 euros each if we are 25.
PLEASE NOTE: We will need to pay the Fondazione in advance via wire transfer so please note that your fee will have to be collected also in case of a no-show. I will let you know the exact amount on the same day of the tour and I will collect the money directly onsite.
