Film Fans: Gloria! (new date)

Dear Film Fans,

Cineteca has announced a new date for Gloria!, the new Italian film by film maker/songwriter Margherita Vicario, that had to be cancelled recently due to the flooding in Bologna.

Variety called Gloria! “Upbeat Italian convent drama…(which) gives baroque standards a girl-power pop makeover”.  The film is in Italian (no subtitles).

This time the film will be shown at Lumière, on a Friday morning (holiday).  I hope some of you who have wanted to see it will be able to join me.  As always, to RSVP leave a comment.

I will be getting my ticket directly at the Cineteca, before the film.  Meet me at 10.45 (outside or in the lobby, depending on the weather).
