IWF Monthly Meeting 19 May

The May Monthly Meeting will meet on

19 May at 19.30

For this event we are partnering with Altre Terre and Associazione Mondo Donna Onlus to bring you a world cuisine food truck at the fantastic outdoor event space DumBo.

Authentic recipes from Africa, the Middle East, Asia, the Balkans. Prepared for you by those who know them best.

Altre Terre – cucine del mondo is a journey into taste, a meeting of cultures, a beautiful project for the inclusion for women.

This event is open to all members and any number of female friends!

Food will be for purchase and there will also be a cash/no-host bar.

The sample menu is as follows:

Pljeskavica, a spiced beef patty served with fresh vegetables and sauce of your choice.

Ćevapčići, sandwich with grilled small meatballs, fresh vegetables and sauce of your choice.

Nigerian pie, shortcrust pastry stuffed with fresh vegetables or minced beef and herbs.

Syrian bread with falafel, fresh salads, hummus and a Balkan sauce of natural yogurt.

Vegetarian sambusak, filo pastry rolls stuffed with vegetables (spinach, potato, onion, walnuts and pomegranate).

Syrian kibbeh (bulgur croquettes, stuffed with meat, nuts and pomegranate).

Yalanggi, grape leaves stuffed and rolled with rice, tomato, and spices.

Dishes at the event may vary, the prices range from 3 to 8 euros per dish.
