Come and visit Palazzo Caprara Montpensier, one of the most fascinating and historically rich buildings in Bologna, a long-time seat of power and government.
Through the halls of this majestic palace, now the seat of the Prefecture of Bologna, you will retrace the political history of the city and its illustrious owners. Nobles, royalty and even Emperor Napoleon have all lived here while embellishing its furnishings and works of art. Whether in the private theatre, in Bonaparte’s quarters or in the Presidential Room, you will breathe in the air of royalty and power while experiencing the true essence of “good city government”.
This event is organised in collaboration with Bologna Welcome, thanks to which we will have the chance to enjoy a chamber concert by the Orchestra Filarmonica of the Teatro Comunale of Bologna. It will also be open to the public, but we have our very special priority group. 😉

When: Sunday the 7th of May, start time at 10.30am, meeting time 10.15am SHARP.
IMPORTANT: Entrance will NOT be permitted after 10.30 am.

Length: 45 minutes for the tour + 45 minutes for the concert

Who: IWF members. Partners and friends are very welcome to join but they could possibly be in another group if our capacity is ended.
Cost: 15 euros each (I will collect them at 10.15am at the entrance)
How to sign-up: Please sign-up for this event ONLY by leaving your messages in the comment section below. Kindly do so before Tuesday the 2nd of May, thank you. After this date our tickets will be left free for Bologna Welcome to sell.
PLEASE NOTE: I will have to buy our tickets in advance, which means I will have to cover your fee myself if you are unable to come at the last moment. Kindly make sure you have someone to take your place in this case or consider covering the fee anyway in case I cannot find anyone to replace you.
In case you are unsure about coming, please consider that Bologna Welcome will sell tickets till the last day: contact me anyway so that I can check with them if there still is any free place after the 2nd of May.
