This time we’ll be seeing Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Regina King, Benicio del Toro among others, and loosely inspired by Thomas Pynchon’s “Vineland,” where “the fight against American fascism is a family affair” in the words of The New Yorker’s Justin Chang.
The film has already been tipped as an early awards contender and hailed as PTA’s best work.
We’ll meet on Sunday at the Cineteca – Lumière at 9.30 for complimentary breakfast offered by Forno Brisa. The film starts at 10 o’clock and my seat is E7, if you wish to sit close by.
Tickets can be purchased online at https://cinetecabologna.18tickets.it/film/22958 or in person, either at the Cineteca or at the Bookshop in Voltone di Podestà (Piazza Maggiore).
Hope to see you there! To RSVP, as always, leave a comment below.
