Our October reservation is for this Thursday 28 October at the highly rated Korean restaurant Soon for 20.00.
The proposed menu will be for us to share a few Korean antipasti, such as kimchi pancakes and dumplings called mandu, and then experience together gogi-gu-i, a traditional Korean barbeque.
Gogi-gu-i is a variety of thinly sliced marinated and unmarinated meats presented for us to cook on a grill set into the table top. Accompanying the barbeque will be banchan, a selection of vegetable side dishes.
A popular way of eating this type of barbecue is to wrap the cooked meat, with a bit of chosen vegetable topped with a sauce, in a lettuce leaf.

I hope this will be a fun exploration of a specialty that is very popular around the world.

We have a limited amount of spaces reserved and ask if you are not able to keep your place at the table — please update your availability ASAP in the comment section so that another member can enjoy the evening.
My best, Stephanie
