The May dinner will be one of solidarity and charity supporting Cucine Popolari.
About Cucine Popolari :
All activities are in the name of solidarity, to promote sociality, to create networks, to develop concrete and shared responses to the emerging needs of the most fragile people in the community. The Cucine Popolari are designed and enacted by the volunteer organization Civibo, established as a volunteer association in Bologna on October 20, 2014 with the specific aim of creating a Cucine Popolari in every neighborhood of Bologna, in places where the most disadvantaged people can not only have a hot meal but also the possibility of social exchange. Places and spaces where guests feel not in a hurry but in a place where they can eat as if they were at home, where they can make new acquaintances, where they can chat with guests and volunteers and where they can also build new friendships. The idea is to respond to a need for sociality and dignity, to fight loneliness and sadness as well as hunger.
A set menu is being prepared by volunteers celebrating food from this area.
Menu is 35 Euro per person.
