Film Fans: Another Language

To change the scenario a bit,  there are several good movies in languages other than English offered at the moment and worth mentioning. Following the presentation of the acclaimed movie “Finale a Sorpresa-Official Competition” by Spanish-speaking directors Gaston Duprat and Mariano Cohn, the Cineteca presents this week three more movies shot by the duo.

The first event is on Thursday May 5 at 6 pm at Cinema Lumiere  with the movie in Spanish language and Italian subtitles: “Querida, voy a comprar cigarillos y vuelvo”  (Darling, I’m going to buy some cigarettes and I will return). The imaginary story of a new life and new opportunities offered to an older man with a grey and tasteless existence.
