In collaboration with the IWF Book Club, the Film Fans are invited to watch the film version(s) of Emma, based on Jane Austen’s novel which is IWF Book Club’s choice for September 2020.The brand new version of Emma (2020) is available on Sky on demand and for rent on Amazon and Apple TV.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we can only recommend to watch this, or the 1996 version, on your own. However, an aperitivo may be organised at a future date to include both the IWF book and film lovers, to discuss this and other titles.
Next month’s book selection is Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly which was also adapted for screen in 2018. Happy reading& viewing!

I think that someone of you could be interested to see my new art documentary “GIOVANNI BOLDINI. IL PIACERE STORY OF THE ARTIST” (2021, minutes 56) . It was selected in competition at BIOGRAFILM FESTIVAL and at TERRA DI SIENA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL where I was awarded for the 1 edition of “Arte & Cinema” Prize in October.
