January Monthly Meeting

The January Monthly Meeting will take place Thursday, January 17th at the Palazzina at the Centro delle Donne (via del Piombo, 5) with social greetings beginning at 7pm followed by the general meeting presentation at 7:30pm (please note the early start for this meeting). Giampiero Bagni, PhD candidate., will take us back in time for an encounter with the Templars of Bologna. Although their presence and activity in Bologna were very important in their day, they have received little attention in ours. Thanks to an archaeological excavation conducted by Bagni, on Strada Maggiore, and his extensive research in the subject, more and more is coming to light. Come and hear all about it, as we dig into this little-known aspect of Bologna's past. Following the presentation, consider joining us for a no-host aperitivo at Osteria della Fondazza (via Fondazza, 35).
