April Monthly Meeting

The April Monthly Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 19th at Paoletti in Galleria Cavour (off via Farini, across from Piazza Cavour).  Social greetings will begin at 7:15pm, followed by a presentation at 8pm by photographer Federico Borella who will highlight his work 'Sheroes - After the Acid Attacks'.  Borella's project documents the women of The Sheroes Hangout Cafe located in the touristic area of Agra in India.  Founded in December 2014 by the Stop Acid Attacks campaign and the Chaanv Foundation, this cafe is unlike any other as it employs victims of acid attacks.  The cafe is a safe place and symbol for the many women who struggle to rebuild their lives after having been attacked with acid.Following the presentation, consider joining us for a no-host aperitivo at Foodies (via Marchesana 6/g).
