Upcoming Events

The March Social Event takes place Thursday March 23rd, and will take us on a private guided tour of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna in Piazza Verdi.  Please meet at the box office (via Largo Resphigh 1) at 6:45pm, the tour will begin at 7pm and will last from 1-1.25 hours. This event is free for members and only 5euros for female guests, please SIGN -UP on the Forum for this event  Following the tour, consider joining us for no-host aperitivo at Alce Nero Berberè (via Petroni 9c).

Interest Groups

Would you like to take part in one of our interest groups during the upcoming social year? Interest groups are a great way of meeting other IWF members and making new contacts within our group. Contact the Membership Team for more details, or contact the individual group leaders:

  • Professional Network- next meeting takes place Friday, March 24th at 6pm, location to be posted soon
  • Coffee Morning- meets weekly at Pappare' (via dei Giudei, 2) on Wednesdays at 10:30am
  • Culture Club - stay tuned for their next meeting
  • Job Bank-job opportunities can be found on the forum
  • Book Club- meeting February 28th at 8pm to discuss " A Question of Upbringing" by Anthony Powell.
  • Ramblers- stayed tuned for upcoming events
  • Diners Club- meets Thursday, March 9th at 8:15pm at Osteria Buca Manzoni (via Manzoni 6/g)
  • Language XChange- meeting on Thursday, March 2nd at 1pm at Osteria del Mercato (via San Gervasio 1/e)
